DXF import → smart automatic turning G-code

Upload a 2D DXF profile using LINE, ARC, or LWPOLYLINE entities. The importer auto-detects the drawing plane, X/Z axes, and whether the radial axis is radius or diameter, then chains unordered entities from the front endpoint and regenerates the G-code automatically.

Import is a geometry assistant, not a CAM simulation. The detected plane/axes are shown after import. Verify the generated path before cutting material.

Tool radius compensation

For production, G42/G41 with the control tool offset is recommended. In manual mode the program adds 2R to X because X is diameter.

With G42/G41 this is informational; the real correction comes from the control offset.

Angle output with Q

Tornos: Q replaces one axis; it is not emitted together with both X and Z. Choose Z+Q or X+Q. Moving to a larger diameter outputs Q- (for example Q-45 / Q135 equivalent); moving to a smaller diameter outputs Q+.

For Tornos: Q is emitted only on sloped lines and replaces X or Z depending on your selection. Larger diameter = Q-, smaller diameter = Q+. In manual mode enter the exact Q value, e.g. -45 or 135.
